Family office and co‑investment deal flow.

We help wealth managers, direct investors and multi-family offices reach the investors, mandates and co-investment partners their next stage of growth depends on.

Where growth stalls in this market:

Decisions that wait on the principal
Mandates that are rarely made public
Doors that open only by introduction

What we deliver:Qualified introductions to investors and co-investment partners.

In this market, access is earned through relationships.

A few relationships alone never make a repeatable channel.

Decisions that wait on the principal

A principal decides when to act, often over many months.

A form of growth risk

How we address it

What we install stays in place until the decision is made.

Mandates that are rarely made public

What a family office is seeking is rarely public, so demand forms out of sight.

A form of market complexity

How we address it

We see where demand is forming before it is visible from outside.

  • Focus where it is most likely to matter

Doors that open only by introduction

Relationships here form through introduction, and an unfamiliar name carries little weight.

A form of channel concentration

How we address it

We use a warm introduction wherever one exists.

Access depends on trust, in each kind of firm.

In each, a single new mandate or relationship carries significant value. Wealth managers win new relationships by referral, where an introduction carries weight; direct investors look for mandates that are never published; multi-family offices follow each principal’s own assessment, which a channel designed for rapid volume cannot accommodate.

The moment a principal begins to look is rarely visible from the outside, and a list of offices ranks them by what they hold, not by what they want this year.

How co-investment and LP mandates surface.

Each one begins with a transaction in view.

See the seven-step architecture
Stone towers of the financial district, looking up to a blue sky

A mandate surfaces when an office has a transaction in view and an open question about who should stand beside it: partnerships and co-investment, acquisitions and roll-ups, refinancing and capital needs. An office with no transaction in view is out of market, and an approach reaches no decision.

Before any approach we agree a written target profile with you: the sector, the size of the counterparty, the decision-maker and the mandate type, for example a co-invest or LP mandate. Each dimension is graded ideal, acceptable or out of scope.

Early means relevant, and not yet ready for a conversation. Each situation is followed as it develops, so the move to in market is seen when it happens and your firm is known to the office while its question is still open.

Every response is assessed on fit and readiness, and our team confirms seriousness and next step. What arrives has a defined next conversation.

A hospital corridor through open blue doors

One family office, a healthcare roll-up and an open question.

On one representative mandate, our intelligence identified a family office evaluating co-GP partners for a healthcare platform roll-up. It surfaced through network intelligence, and the stage recorded against it was early: the office had a transaction in view and had not yet decided what kind of partner it wanted.

An office at that stage is not comparing proposals, so a pitch would answer a question it has not finished framing. The situation is followed instead, and when an office is in market it is reported with the steps engaged and the next step. In one mandate’s reporting, a family office in market for healthcare deals shows four of the seven steps engaged, with a co-GP conversation next.

  • Identified through network intelligence, in one week of one mandate
  • Recorded as early: relevant, not yet ready
  • Followed as it develops, until it is in market
  • Reported with its next step: a co-GP conversation

Every approach carries your standing.

A co-investment is a partnership before it is a transaction, so a principal weighs the people before the terms. We choose the route to each decision-maker by seniority and prior response: a warm introduction where one exists, otherwise a partner channel or a direct approach.

Confidentiality sets the manner. Approaches are few and deliberate, because this is a small market and each one carries your name. Positioning, messaging and compliance standards are agreed with you before the market is approached, and our team enforces them.

Family offices and the co-investment conversation.

A family office rarely says what it is looking for. Its relationships begin with an introduction, and its principal sets the timetable. Our market commentary on how, and when, a co-investment conversation should begin.

Capital markets · 6 months

A private credit advisory firm gains 100+ new buy-side introductions.

The challenge

Growth depended on referrals, and on when others brought deals forward. The firm wanted a repeatable way to reach investors and buy-side groups.

What we built

  • Market intelligence that shaped who to approach and when
  • Concise messaging suited to investor audiences
  • Proprietary distribution infrastructure, built for scale

The outcome

The program delivered 1.7x the firm’s best existing channel: 100+ new buy-side groups, and sell-side opportunities across solar, acquisition, fleet financing, and aviation.

A private credit platform builds a $19B mandate pipeline.

The challenge

Deal flow was irregular and dependent on referrals, with no systematic origination channel.

What we built

  • A governed intake process, from submission to mandate, term sheet and funding
  • Coverage across 50+ industries
  • A global investor network, activated

The outcome

Referral-led deal flow gave way to a governed channel. Within twelve months, 14 term sheets were issued and $200M+ was funded.

Questions wealth managers, direct investors and family offices ask.

Can you find co-investment partners or LP commitments for a specific transaction?

Where your market can deliver, yes. The written target profile names the mandate type, for example a co-invest or LP mandate, alongside the sector, the size of the counterparty and the decision-maker. Each is graded ideal, acceptable or out of scope, and only offices that fit are approached.

How do you reach a family office we have no introduction to?

Through a partner channel, where an established partnership offers a better route than any individual does, or a direct approach where neither exists. A direct approach is made only to an office in scope, under your own standards. Where a warm introduction exists, we use it.

How is confidentiality handled?

Your positioning, messaging and compliance standards are agreed before the market is approached, and our team enforces them on every approach. A principal who declines now may be the right partner later, and will recall how the first approach was made.

Our principal sets the timetable. How does an engagement work with that?

A cycle here can run for many months, so the infrastructure we build stays in place. Demand is identified early and developed at the pace the principal sets, so that your firm is still present when the decision is made.

Will this replace the referrals our business relies on?

No. Referrals, warm networks, partnerships and internal teams continue as they are. What we build runs parallel to them and reaches parts of the market they cannot.

Who decides which offices and principals are approached?

We decide together. The written target profile we agree at the outset names the offices, situations and mandate types in scope, and what sits outside it. Every approach made in your name meets it.
