Your privacy on this website.
This statement applies to this website. It explains how the site operates and what happens when you visit a page.
What this website is
This is a static website about Marlmont. Its pages describe the commercial problems we address and the markets we serve. Every page is fixed HTML and CSS, served as written rather than assembled for each visitor.
Cookies
The cookie notice lets you choose your preferences. With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to measure visits, and Google Analytics sets cookies on this device for that purpose. Without your permission no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. Your choice is saved in local storage on this device for up to 180 days so the notice does not appear on every page. You can review or change it using Cookie settings in the footer. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. The homepage also keeps one number in local storage so its featured card opens on the next slide each visit. It identifies no one and is never sent anywhere.
Analytics and third-party scripts
If you allow analytics, pages load the Google Analytics script from Google. It records visits to this website: the pages viewed, an approximate location, and the type of device and browser. We use it to understand how the site is used. Advertising features are not used. If you do not allow analytics, the site loads no third-party script. Typefaces are served from the site itself, so opening a page sends no request to a font provider.
Forms
The contact form, the careers application form and the market commentary sign-up send what you enter, and any resume you attach, to Marlmont by email. The website keeps no copy. The question panel on the right edge of each page answers from a prepared list; a scope request or a question you send from it reaches Marlmont by email in the same way, with your fit-check answers and the page you were on. Your browser keeps that conversation until you close the tab, so that it follows you between pages; it is stored nowhere else. The fit checks and the three planning tools calculate their results in the page; their scripts do not store or transmit the values entered.
The client login also contains input fields. That service is not currently connected. With JavaScript running, submission displays a notice instead of sending the details entered. Without JavaScript, its controls remain disabled. The site scripts do not save those values to browser storage.
The email address in the footer opens your email application. Any message you choose to send is handled through your email service and reaches us as correspondence.
Correspondence
You can write to us through our contact form. We read and handle what you send for one purpose: assessing whether there is a fit between Marlmont and the sender, whether as a prospective client or as an applicant.
Terms
The terms on which this website is provided are set out separately.
